Description:

This machine was the best money could buy in 2002, and it still dominates. Don't tell the Polaris guys -- but this will smoke the Sportsman 800 in a quarter-mile. Kawasaki makes one of the best engines on the market.
Extras / Upgrades include:
- Brand new ITP mud-tires mounted on larger rims (the machine stands about 3 inches taller than the stock configuration). ($500 )
- I JUST odered a brand new 3,000lb winch and mounting plate to go with it. I'll include those for free ($350).
- Matching hard back-seat with storage compartments ($250)
- Add-on front and rear bumpers (only the front bumper is shown -- you can take the rear bumper, too!) ($200)
- Rear-view mirrors ($60)
- Trailer hitch ($80)
- Thumb extender (so you can push the throttle with your palm) ($30)
- Mounting bracket for warn snow plow ($65) (Note: Does not come with a plow, but with this bracket, you can easily add one)
- Battery is brand new ($75)
Total price of upgrades and extras if purchased brand new: Over $1,500!!!
A few notes on this model:
- Fully automatic. No shifting whatsoever.
- Includes selectable high/low range
- Gears down so low that, on a steep hill, you actually need to give it gas to make it go
- Digital console with speedometer, odometer, fuel level, trip, etc.
- The V-Twin in this is AMAZING. It has an insane amount of power and it just PURS like a kitten and ROARS like a lion.
- 2,500 miles
- Always maintained, stored in my garage
The ONLY issue is the plastics -- they are broken a bit around the foot area (see photos). Nothing I consider a big deal. It's also missing one of the small front plastic covers (again, see photos). Total cost to repair everything would be around $150. A FEW scratches here and there (nothing crazy).
Never rolled or been on its side. Belt was replaced about 300 miles ago, so it's good to go for a long time to come. The only reason I'm selling is because we got a Rhino and I don't need it anymore.
All things considered -- this thing is a steal at the price I'm asking. But if I don't sell it now, I'm gonna have it until next year.
